The Crown Estate and Sunnyside Rural Trust are making good progress with delivering a new community garden at Cherry Tree Lane in Hemel Hempstead, having begun work on site this week.
The Crown Estate is inviting local residents to a series of community engagement events as it progresses with ambitious plans for land to the east of Hemel Hempstead (known as ‘East Hemel’).

The Crown Estate is inviting local residents in and around Hemel Hempstead to help shape its ambitious proposals for land to the east of the town, as it announces a series of community engagement events in October for East Hemel.
We are now progressing with work on a planning application for our East Hemel site, which forms part of the HGC programme, and we look forward to holding our first full public consultation later this year to give the local community and other stakeholders the opportunity to share their views.
